7 Days of Prayer
Day 2 is a prayer of Guidance and Direction
Day 2: Guidance and Direction
Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV) - "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."
As you seek God's guidance and direction, remember to trust Him wholeheartedly. Surrender your plans and desires to Him, acknowledging His wisdom and sovereignty. He promises to guide and lead you on the right path.
Here are some prompts to help guide your prayer:
Wholehearted Trust: Reflect on areas of your life where you might be holding back in trusting God. Pray for the grace to trust Him with all aspects of your heart, releasing any reservations.
Surrender Your Plans: Identify specific plans or desires you've been holding onto. Surrender them to God, acknowledging that His understanding surpasses yours. Ask for the strength to let go and trust His perfect plan.
Wisdom in Decision-Making: If there's a specific decision you're facing, seek God's wisdom. Ask Him for clarity and insight, trusting that He will guide you in making choices aligned with His will.
Acknowledging God in Daily Life: Consider your daily routines and activities. Pray for a conscious effort to acknowledge God in every aspect of your life—work, relationships, and personal endeavors.
Guidance for the Path Ahead: Pray for God's guidance on the path ahead. Trust Him to make your path straight, aligning it with His purpose for your life. Ask for patience and faith as you wait on His direction.
If you'd like, you can pray the prayer below out loud, or pray something in your own words on your own.
